Learn to fuse glass with metal inclusions – an exciting dimension to warm glass.
In this workshop, you will work with low-cost materials – copper and float glass – to create fused glass art.
You’ll learn reactions of copper when fired, and gain a basic understanding of how to work with ordinary pane glass.
You will make two projects: 1) embossing copper 2) metal and color.Your projects will be fired and ready for pickup the following week. No glass experience required. All materials and tools included.

Elizabeth Mobley has been creating glass art since 2005. She advanced her fine arts skills by studying at Glass Fusing Art School in Italy as well as under other prominent glass artists. She worked at a glass distribution center/studio, which she considered a playground or sandbox. Elizabeth has exhibited her glass in venues throughout the Atlanta metro-area. She enjoys teaching kiln fused glass classes as much as sharing and collaborating with other artists.
