Fused Light Studio

Glass: You can fuse it and shape it, paint with it and cast it. The place to learn is at Georgia’s largest kilnformed glass studio, just outside Decatur in the Atlanta metro area.

You can take workshops, do collaborative projects and have private lessons in this professional 1,750-square-foot studio. We have two extra-large kilns, custom-built for advanced techniques: a 36″ x 66″ casting bed and a 40″ x 72″ table with sand bed. We have three other kilns for tall or small works, and ceramics.

All the coldworking essentials are here, too: sandblaster, tile saw, drill press, large flat lap grinder, angle grinder, wet belt sander, Foredom rotary and hand finishing tools.

Our inventory of Bullseye sheet glass, frit, stringers and billet will expand your horizons of what’s possible. We can also teach you to work with lead crystal, System 96 and recycled glass.

In 2022, we’re offering group events, and regular workshops will start in the fall. You can pre-register here to receive early notification as each one is scheduled.
