Kilncarving Glass Workshop Build form and texture
with kilncarving
Saturday, Jan. 18, 10 am to 1 pm
Add depth and dimension to create a sculpture in glass with the technique of kilncarving. In this workshop led by veteran glass artist Elizabeth Mobley, you’ll cut and layer fiber paper and felt to make an image.
You will create two pieces in dichroic glass, one transparent and one opaque. Patterns will be available for your use, or bring your own pattern or image. Your pieces will be fired and ready for pick-up the following week.
No glass experience required. This is a great workshop to bring a friend or family member!
