I love photography because I love the light.
When all else fails me, I can remain faithful to the light.
These photos were taken in winter, when we cling to the scant light and try to amplify it, warm our hands by it.
I was studying video tutorials today, and the endless details of formats, scanning and other output data was making my head hurt. Do I really need to know this stuff to do art videos?
What I love is to get close to the light. To show it manifest itself in all its ways of beauty and pain.
Nothing else matters.
Today’s penny is a 2015, the year that the photos in this post were shot. [More about my photography is here on LisaSchnellinger.com.]
