You will complete a beautiful cast glass project, and gain the skills and knowledge you need to continue with casting on your own.<\/p>\n<p>Open-faced casting is the easiest glass casting to learn. An open-faced mold is used for casting a flat-backed shape or design.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the link to register:<br \/>\nBit.ly\/CastGlass<\/p>\n<p>The workshop schedule is:<br \/>\nSunday April 18, 2 pm: Overview and design principles (remote)<br \/>\nSaturday April 24, 1-5 pm: Create the form, make and clean the mold<br \/>\nSunday April 25, 2-4 pm: Fill and fire the mold, firing schedule<br \/>\nSaturday May 1, 1-5 pm: Divest and coldwork the casting<\/p>\n<p>The workshop fee is $350, payable once your registration is confirmed. A separate materials fee will depend on the amount and color of glass that you cast.
