About Fused Light Studio<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Glass: You can\u00a0fuse it and shape it, paint with it and cast it. The place to learn is at Georgia’s largest kilnformed\u00a0glass studio, just outside Decatur in the Atlanta metro area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can take workshops, do collaborative projects and have private lessons\u00a0in this professional 1,750-square-foot studio. We have\u00a0two extra-large kilns, custom-built for advanced techniques: a 36\u2033 x 66\u2033 casting bed and a 40\u2033 x 72\u2033 table with sand bed. We have three other\u00a0kilns for tall or small works, and ceramics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the coldworking essentials are here, too: sandblaster, tile saw, drill press, large flat lap grinder, angle grinder, wet belt sander, Foredom rotary and hand finishing tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our inventory of Bullseye sheet glass, frit, stringers and billet will expand your horizons of what\u2019s possible. We can also teach you to work with lead crystal, System 96 and recycled glass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, we\u2019re offering group events, and regular\u00a0workshops will start in the fall. You can\u00a0pre-register here<\/a>\u00a0to receive early notification as each one is scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
